What are your views on hunting deer?

just want to see other peoples viewsWhat are your views on hunting deer?
I like it because it's a challenge and thrilled to show patience, skill, strategy, and markmanship. Food is great but I mainly do it for recreational invovlement. Video other hunters every chance I get and love it. I live in MS and hunt out of state every year in IL and start loosing sleep at least a week before my departure time. What are your views on hunting deer?
'; Society will forever judge Hunters by their Compassion for the animals that they Hunt, Harvest, and Eat.';~~ '; Hunting is Fun and Enjoyable, Killing is neither Fun or Enjoyable.';~~...All life is precious to us True Hunters, and we are Grateful for the abundance of wild game there is to Hunt, and that we enjoy eating.* We appreciate, honor, and respect the life of each animal that we Hunt for and Harvest for ourselves, family, friends, and fellow Hunters*~
it seems fun and id like to try it if my mom would let me get a gun, she has the same views as liberals on gun control and think guns can somehow get up, break out of a safe and shoot someone. i go to the shooting range every week and she wont let me get a gun... how sad?
mmmmmm deeeer, deer hunting leads to a healthier population and not only gives food to hunters but to people who need food through programs where hunters donate venison. I could get a lot more involved with my answer but it is all positive stuff.
i see no problem with deer hunting. it is enjoyed by many hunters and in most areas, is actually good for the deer populations.

as long as laws are followed and poaching is punished, i say, pass the venison!
I love it! I eat 5-6 deer a year, and that is what I strive to kill every year. Hunting helps keep the deer population in check and prevents them from out stripping their food supply, thereby contributing to a healthy herd.
My favorite view on deer is when I line up the front and rear sights on my trusty Winchester 30-30 and squeeze the trigger, which leads to my next favorite view of deer, which is on a plate next to mashed potatoes and gravy. mmmmmmmmm
I hunt for food in the winter, the deer population is overwhelming in NC, And it's nice to know that if times is going to get rough I can survive!*
They are introduced here so they are generally a pest to Farmers.

They taste great, theyre awesome to hunt and a magnificant animal.
I love it. I hunt for food. I know people that hunt for sport which sometimes isn't the best but they give the meat to the poor which is great.
Great sport and great tasting food source. Hey, in America we should go from beef consuption to deer due to the fact that deer meat is way leaner and very abundant.
Deer hunting is wonderful.....it provides my family with meat and regulates the deer population.
I enjoy hunting them and I enjoy eating them.
It's legal, I enjoy it, do it as often as I can and eat what I kill. There are many more reasons to hunt than not to hunt.
i dont really like the sport but it helps so idk...poor deer =( same with fish and such.
my view on deer hunting is from about 15 feet up, or on a stump, or sleeping under an old pine tree.
love it

Puts food on my table in the winter (works slow then, for me) and early spring
