Do you use the meat or donate it?When you actually get that deer you've been hunting....?
Of course I use the meat. I will not kill something if there isn't a need to (for food or for my safety).





I will butcher it and freeze what I don't plan on cooking that night.











To the people who say ';eww'; or ';I hate people like that';.. the food you eat (especially if you eat meat) doesn't come in a package.. it used to be alive. And its very pathetic that you don't want to know how REAL life works.When you actually get that deer you've been hunting....?
Donating meat like that is a wonderful idea. I support that 100%

My friend's dad hunts deer. When he gets one, they use the deer meat. I don't know what they do with the rest of it, although they do have a number of mounted heads... (It's sorta creepy because they'll have 7 heads in one room, and one time I spent the night in that room....LOL)
I don't hunt anymore. but i would hope those were the only purposes to hunt for not the rack or horns or tusks or whatever.


I live in an area that is too easy to kill deer so i quit hunting.


I am not bragging, it is just loaded. they are in my yard. lol
Use it,it saves a heck of alot on the grocery bill and it's healthier than domestic meat.
Ah the Deer Hunter, that movie made me want to kill myself.

I use it. But i take to hoofs and hit homeless people with them.
