Is hunting in the city safe or not?

I have my licenceIs hunting in the city safe or not?
While everyone agrees this is a stupid question posted for a stupid reason, everyone so far is totally clueless than in SOME cities, it is perfectly legal to hunt.


There is one town in Wyoming that sells a $10 permit to hunt antelope with a bow or crossbow only. On Sundays, they close the golf course to golfers, and you can rent a cart to drive out and shoot antelope off the greens. I've seen it with my own eyes.


There have also been questions posted here about hunting within the city limits in other areas, and I was surprised to learn that there are some cities back East (was it PA?) which allow this.Is hunting in the city safe or not?
Hunting in the City in not only unsafe it is illegal. The reason for this is because in the city there is a higher concentration of people, and even though you may be hunting in a park, if you miss, you could very well end up killing somebody. Hunting Licences are only for areas that are designated hunting zones where there are set boundarys for the protection of the public.
I don't know where your at but its this way in my city ----- If you get caught firing a gun in the city limits for any reason other than self defense in your home its a 1 way ticket to jail..... Even a little harmless shooting a .22 of a squirrel will get your butt sent to the the big house.....
if by city you mean on the outskirts in the wooded areas alot of cities have a bow only or buckshot only type rule but in the city limits theres usually not only laws against it but nothing to shoot really

If it involves guns and ammo - you are going to get arrested for it.
why would you want to hunt anything that lives in the city, everything is garbage fed. Not very good eating. Go to the woods where the animals don't eat trash.

Yes it is unsafe. Most cities have houses and people living there and you could shoot someone.
