I find job hunting so emotionally draining, how can I gather enough energy and enthuthiasm...?

everyday to continue the job search?I find job hunting so emotionally draining, how can I gather enough energy and enthuthiasm...?
If you are job hunting full time right now, you should just do it 8 hours maximum per day (treat it like a real job). Take your weekend off to relax. Hang out with friends when you have extra time. Go out of your house and enjoy the day / do something you like to do whenever you are tired, and then go back.

Don't be stress about looking all the time, it is about the quality of job search (from researching to application) and not quantity. Good Luck to find the Perfect Job.I find job hunting so emotionally draining, how can I gather enough energy and enthuthiasm...?
Step it up.

Feel a good attitude, smile feel confident. Don't allow it to bring you down.

Remember your not called yet because your too good for them that company.

Keep on going. Continue to hold your High quality about yourself.... stay cheery. Companies like that.

Hint on your Apps ... if you write that I filled 4 boxed today .... try writing in numbers... you boxed 4,782 items daily. This always throws them off and can make something really small become very large. Good Luck - Stay Positive.
just retire live life doing what you want
You know what. I think it's best to just find something you love to do. Life is too short. Find something meaningful. If it is necessary to find something quickly to take care of yur expenses, then by all means find a job quickly - doesn't matter what. But don't stop searching for your dream job. And also, do the job - hunting in portions. Set up your resume at www.careerbuilder.com and then you can be passive. But even if you want to actively search for yourself, do a few at a time. Put in three apps and then take yerself a break. Do something fun. If you're going to watch something on a screen then get out for a little bit afterwards. Then later, if you feel like it, resume the job hunting. Whatever you do, be picky, it's ok. Not being picky is what will consume all of your time and make it overwhelming, there are too many jobs and a lot of them you probably don't want nothing to do with. So just take it little by little and do have fun while doing it.
I'm sure you must have goals both professionally and financially, being successful at work should be good basic motivation to find a job for the short term and a career to excel at in the larger scheme of things. Hope this helps some and good luck!!
easy...

all u have to do is post a question asking this...

then wait for someone like me to come along

and wait for me to give u your cheerful and enthuthiasm filled speech!!

I know that maybe sometimes life gets hard, there are many things that may contribute to this... but always remember that there is someone who's life is worse, and think of all the ups of the day. You may not have a current job, or maybe ur job isn't the best... but always think and be happy that you have the chance to live in a country that lets you look for a job.... while other people wish with all their hearts that they had the freedom to do so.

Living in the USA leads people to become acustomed to freedom, and all the things that we take for granted. When looking for a job, don't think of it as a must do... .think of it as the blessing that it is.... because truly it IS a blessing to be able to look in the newspaper pick out a job... and apply for it!

There are people in other countries, who are amazed at hearing that Americans are able to CHOOSE jobs, while they are forced to have ANY job that will provide money of some sort.

Maybe this isn't the answer that you were expecting for your question, but i hope that u realize that you are lucky to be able to ';hunt'; for a job, and as you do so everyday, remember that it wont always be that way, and that soon you will have a job... but in the process, and the time being.... just think about all that i've said, and it will hopefully be easier for you to look for a job.

Happy job hunting!
