If your going hunting and your not 21 but your with your uncle is it ok?

In my state it's OK, but if you are 12 or over you need a license of your own. Check with your local hunter safety people. If your going hunting and your not 21 but your with your uncle is it ok?
It's ok as long as you don't get the gun in your hands!

Hey, are you from Cyprus? : ) Hunting season has just started there today. If your going hunting and your not 21 but your with your uncle is it ok?
It depends on your local laws and what you mean by ';not 21';.

There are big differences in most laws between someone who is 13 and 18.

In some areas out in the plains, rural kids are almost expected to know how to hunt before they can drive.

Many states require younger hunters to have taken a gun safety class and be with an older hunter.
yes...

u just have to stay with ur unclee.
No you do not have to stay with him. The legal age for hunting in most is 16, any age under that you are required to hunt with an adult.
Is it okay to do what. In our state, your people have to attend a gun safety course and get their own license. Of course, if you want to tag along with your uncle, and not carry a gun, that is something different then actually going hunting with him.
In Missouri where I live you can rifle hunt with a licensed hunter until your sixteenth birthday. Once you turn sixteen in Missouri to legally hunt you have to obtain a hunter safety permit by completing a course. At NO time is hunting with a HANDGUN legal for a minor UNLESS said minor is with a parent/guardian... NOT AN ADULT! So handgun hunting with an uncle is against the law. In Missouri it is against the law for a minor to even handle a handgun unless a parent or guardian is present. You can get a hunting license in Missouri at age twelve. You cannot legally handle a rifle or a shotgun until age sixteen. With a license before you actually turn sixteen you can hunt regular seasons and not have to be restricted to youth seasons.
yeahh. i know people that do that alll the time.
Yep, as long as your with your uncle, im taking my son who is 17.... as long as he stays near me he is good..... have fun hunting!!
Depends on the state you are going to hunt in. In New York You have be 16 and take a hunter';s safety course (this is for gun season I am not sure of age for Bow, It may be 14 or 16). But you can't buy a shotgun or rifle until you are 18. But reading over the NYS DEC website It doesn't say you can't hunt on your own as long as you are 16
It depends on what state your in. In Iowa, there is a youth season where this can be done, but you have to prove you have taken and passed a hunter safety class. it would be helpfull if you post what state your in.
If your uncle shoots like Dick Cheney, DON'T GO!
