When hunting on private property?

do i still need a hunting lisense. like if i have permission to hunt on someones land. of course they would have to know or what ever but is there a law when hunting on someone elses land that you know or what ever? When hunting on private property?
If you are 16 or older, a hunting license is required to hunt wildlife unless you are on a licensed game-bird shooting resort that supplies pen-raised birds. The license must be carried with you. You may not possess a license that belongs to someone else or one that has been altered, backdated or counterfeited. If you are a nonresident, you may not possess a resident license. If you guide, aid or assist someone else for pay or other value, you must have a guide license

Yes, in all most all state you will need a hunting license to hunt on private land during the prescribed hunting season.

The only state that I know of that the land owner has control of the game that is hunted on its property regardless of hunting season is, Hawaii. I have hunted on private property there for many years without a state hunting license. The state cannot regulate what the property owner does to control his livestock. You will need a hunting license if you transport the killed game off the property during the act of the hunt.
yes, you still need a hunting license.

See, game animals do not read maps and do not know property lines.

Most game animals do not live their entire lives on the property of a single person. Think of it like this. The animal is born over on Mr Smith's land because that has thick cover, the animal goes to Mr Johnson's land to eat during the spring because Mr Johnson plants clover. During the fall, the animal goes to Mr Lee's land for his corn. All year long the animal drinks from Mrs Jone's pond and sleeps in Mr Brown's trees.

Remove any one of those items, and the animal cannot survive.

So who gets to claim the animal as their own? Nobody can.

Hence, even when a game animal is located on a specific person's land at a specific time, it is still considered a community resource
In my state if you own the land a hunting licence is not required, only proof that you own it. When hunting someone elses property you need your licence, a written letter from the owner stating you have his/her permission, their ph no., and stating they aren't reponsible for your actions and your injuries sustained while on their land.
Though the property is owned by an individual, in most cases the game on said land is not, it is owned by the state. So you may not only be required to have in your possession a hunting license issued by the state you are in but depending on the animal you are hunting, perhaps a tag or stamp for that particular species.
In most cases you need a license and stamp and a land owner permission card. If you are game culling or killing game under the game predation laws for the land owner then no.....you don't need a license.
Yes, technically you need a license to hunt on your own property...

That being said, keep your mouth shut and no-one has to know...

(I almost never advocate doing anything illegal by the way...)

On someone else's property you need a license most definitely...
No matter where your hunting, you'll need a license if the animal is a game animal.

Along with the license, it's good to have written permission from the land owner stating that you can hunt on the property.
When hunting game that is regulated and requires a license to hunt, then you must have a license even if you are hunting on your own private property.

Hunting laws are not just for public lands.
It depends........if it is a privately owned hunting reserve then ...no but you will need a note from the reserve stating where the game animal that you are in possesion of came from...(ie) canned hunt
Yes, you do. The license has to do with your activity, not your location when doing it (although there are laws about that also).
Yes, a Hunting License is Mandatory.*
